Bola Tinubu Returns to Abuja Amidst National Economic and Security Crisis

President Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after a two-week private visit to France. His presidential jet landed at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Tuesday night, where he was received by key officials including his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.

The president’s return comes amidst criticism from opposition parties for allegedly abandoning the country during a time of severe security and economic crises. Some opposition leaders have voiced their concerns, stating that the president had no justification for undertaking a private visit while the nation is grappling with substantial challenges.
