Peoples Redemption Party Condemns N3 Trillion Budget Padding

The Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) has strongly condemned the alleged padding of the 2024 budget by a staggering N3 trillion. In a statement released by the party’s acting National Publicity Secretary, Muhammed Ishaq, the PRP expressed deep concern over the potential repercussions of such actions on the economy and the well-being of Nigerian citizens.

Emphasizing the importance of transparency, accountability, and fiscal responsibility, the PRP called for a thorough investigation into the matter and urged authorities to hold those responsible for any wrongdoing accountable. The party also called on the National Assembly to diligently scrutinize the budget to ensure it serves the best interests of the nation.

Highlighting the need for elected officials to prioritize the welfare of the people above all else, the PRP reaffirmed its commitment to promoting good governance, combating corruption, and ensuring that every Nigerian reaps the benefits of democracy.

As the PRP continues to champion these values, it stands firm in its belief that public funds should be utilized judiciously for the betterment of society. The party’s unwavering dedication to serving the people remains at the forefront of its mission to create a more just and equitable society for all Nigerians.
