Governor Siminalayi Fubara Vows to Complete Term Amid Election Controversy

Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State is adamant that his administration will not be prematurely ended, asserting that the people of Rivers State can vouch for his victory in the 2023 gubernatorial election.

In a recent address to members of the Family Support Group during a solidarity visit to the Government House in Port Harcourt, Governor Fubara reassured the citizens of the state that his government is committed to safeguarding their lives and properties.

Represented by the Head of the Civil Service, Dr. George Nwaeke, Governor Fubara emphasized that his administration is dedicated to serving the youth, women, men, and all well-meaning Nigerians who have the best interests of the state at heart.

According to a statement from the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Nelson Chukwudi, Governor Fubara stated, “The entire Rivers State affirms that we rightfully won the election and deserve to fulfill our full term in office. There will be no interference that cuts short the mandate that you, the people, have bestowed upon this administration.”

Governor Fubara highlighted the progress of key infrastructure projects, such as the Port Harcourt Ring Road project spanning six local governments, which is set to be completed within 36 months. Additionally, plans are underway to commence the construction of the Trans-Kalabari Road and the dualization of the Elele-Egbeda-Omoku Road, showcasing the government’s commitment to enhancing transportation infrastructure in the state.

The governor’s proactive approach to infrastructure development and commitment to fulfilling his electoral mandate demonstrate his dedication to the progress and prosperity of Rivers State.

By prioritizing the needs of the people and delivering on key projects, Governor Fubara is poised to lead Rivers State towards a brighter future.
