President Tinubu Offers Condolences on Passing of Senator Ayogu Eze

Abuja, Nigeria – April 26, 2024 – President Bola Tinubu has expressed his condolences to the Eze family following the passing of Senator Ayogu Eze.

A statement released by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, confirmed the President’s condolences. Senator Eze represented Enugu North Senatorial District from 2007 to 2015.

Ngelale highlighted Senator Eze’s distinguished career in the Senate, where he held various leadership positions, including Committee Chairman on Information and Media and Committee Chairman on Works.

President Tinubu extended his sympathies not only to the Eze family but also to Senator Eze’s friends, associates, former colleagues, and the National Assembly as a whole.

The President offered prayers for the repose of Senator Eze’s soul and for comfort for those grieving his loss.
