Former Governor Shekarau’s Country Home Gutted by Fire

Former governor Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau’s country residence in Mundubawa was engulfed in flames, with the sitting room of his second wife, Halima Shekarau, bearing the brunt. Though suspected to originate from the kitchen, the exact cause remains unknown.

State Fire Service officials are actively combating the blaze, which allegedly started in the inner kitchen. While the extent of damage is yet to be determined, authorities are ensuring the fire doesn’t spread further.
