Abducted Students of Confluence University Rescued by Security Forces in Kogi State

In a swift and commendable operation, security agents, aided by vigilant individuals, have successfully rescued the abducted students of Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara, Kogi State. The students, who were taken by unknown gunmen while preparing for their first semester exams, have been safely returned, bringing relief to their families and the community.

Confirming the rescue, Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Kingsley Fanwo, expressed gratitude to the security forces for their gallant efforts in securing the students’ release. Governor Ododo’s visit to the campus underscored the government’s commitment to ensuring the safe return of the abducted students, a promise that has now been fulfilled.

Fanwo commended the bravery displayed by the security agents, noting that their swift action and superior power compelled the abductors to abandon their victims. While the Kogi State Police Command is yet to issue an official statement on the matter, the successful rescue serves as a testament to the collaborative efforts between security agencies and local communities in combating crime and ensuring public safety.
