PDP Constitutes Caretaker Committee for Ondo State Chapter

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has constituted a State Caretaker Committee for the Ondo State chapter of the party. The committee was constituted in accordance with Section 29 (2) (b) of the party’s Constitution.

According to a statement obtained by our correspondent and signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Debo Ologunagba, the caretaker committee was approved by the NWC to run the affairs of the Ondo State chapter of the party.

The statement noted that the committee is charged with the responsibility of piloting the affairs of the party in Ondo State as stipulated in Section 21(2) (a-b) of the party’s Constitution for a period not exceeding 90 days (three months) or until a new Executive Committee is elected.

The members of the committee are as follows: Rt. Hon. Bakkita Olufowobi Bello (Chairman), Oluseye Judes Olujimi (Secretary), Tola Alabere (member), Dayo Awude (member), Bobby Omotosho (member), Fadope Amos Oniosayo (member), Olawumi Owolabi Fasonu (member), Barr. Moses Awofade (member), Boluwaji Bamidele (member), Kennedy Peretei (member), Adebayo Abiodun Ibrahim (member), Engr. Dare Akinwale (member), Kemisola Adesanya (member), and Babatunde Daudu (member).

The NWC has charged all leaders, critical stakeholders, and teeming members of the party in Ondo State to remain united and continue to work together for the progress of the party in the state.
