Redmi Note 14 May Soon Launch in India, Surfaces on BIS Certification Website

Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 14 may be making its way to the Indian market, as the smartphone has been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website. The listing, which also includes a Poco handset, hints at an imminent launch. While the specifications of the Redmi Note 14 are currently under wraps, the handset was previously listed on China’s 3C website, suggesting an imminent launch.

The BIS listing mentions a Redmi handset with the model number 24094RAD4I, which is speculated to be a variant of the Redmi Note 14 that recently received approval from China’s 3C regulator. The same listing also includes a Poco handset with the model number 2409FPCC4I, which is expected to debut as the Poco X7 Neo. This is not surprising, given that the Poco X6 Neo was unveiled as a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 13 earlier this year.

The Redmi Note 13 and Poco X6 Neo, which share similar specifications, were launched with Android 13 and the company’s MIUI 14 skin on top. The phones feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6800 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM. They also come with a 108-megapixel primary camera with 3x in-sensor zoom, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

The Redmi Note 14 and Poco X6 Neo offer up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage and pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W charging. Both phones also feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication and have an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.

While the exact launch date and pricing of the Redmi Note 14 are still unknown, its appearance on the BIS certification website suggests that it may be launched in India soon.
