Tinubu’s Economic Plans: A Call for Patience and Support

Time is Needed to Address Nigeria’s Economic Challenges, Says Top APC Chieftain

A top chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has implored Nigerians to exercise patience as President Bola Tinubu works to address the country’s economic challenges.

Speaking with journalists in Osogbo, Oyintiloye acknowledged that Nigerians are currently facing a tough time, but emphasized that President Tinubu is not taking a break, rather working day and night to find solutions to the economic issues.

He reminded Nigerians that the economic crisis is not of the president’s making and that the president’s policies, although seemingly tough, are designed to put the country on a path of economic prosperity. Oyintiloye pointed out that the economy was in a dire state when the president took office, requiring systemic reforms and understanding from the people.

While the president’s policies have started to show positive results, albeit minimal, Oyintiloye believes that with continued support and patience, the economy will gradually improve. The APC chieftain emphasized the importance of implementing initiatives to improve the business environment, attract foreign investment, and support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

With Nigeria’s economic diversification underway, particularly in sectors like agriculture, manufacturing, technology, marine, and blue economy, Oyintiloye is optimistic about the country’s future, stating that with a little patience, things will fall into place and Nigeria will rise again.

As President Tinubu continues to implement his economic policies, the people of Nigeria are reminded to offer their support, prayers, and patience in order to help the country overcome its current economic difficulties.
