Renamed Government House in Taraba a Tribute to Elder Statesman’s Contributions
In a move to recognize the extraordinary contributions of a renowned Nigerian elder statesman, T.Y. Danjuma, the Taraba state government has unveiled a refurbished government house bearing his name. The renaming ceremony was attended by key officials and dignitaries, and marked a significant milestone in the state’s development trajectory.
According to Aminu Alkali, the Deputy Governor and Chairman of the organizing committee, the decision to rename the government house was taken in appreciation of Danjuma’s remarkable contributions to the state’s development. Speaking at the ceremony, Alkali emphasized that Danjuma’s significant role in nation-building and vital contributions to the state’s growth made him an outstanding figure worthy of this honour.
