She criticized Trump’s stance, pointing out that he had previously hand-selected Supreme Court justices with the intention of undoing protections for Roe v. Wade. Harris noted that 20 states now have Trump-backed abortion bans, including those that make no exception for rape or incest.

She called out Trump’s hypocrisy, pointing out that he had previously suggested punishing women for having abortions.
In response to Trump’s claims that he would be a "protector" for women, Harris emphasized that women do not need a protector, but rather the freedom to make their own decisions about their bodies. She encouraged listeners to recognize that women’s rights and autonomy are not mutually exclusive with their faith or deeply held beliefs.
