Price of PMS to be slashed — Bashir Ahmad

Bashir Ahmad, a former media aide to the former president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, has hinted that the price of Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, will be “slashed.”

Ahmad shared this via his X page on Tuesday.

“The price of PMS is likely to be slashed,” he simply tweeted.

Media Talk Africa reports that the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, has said Nigerians will know the new fuel pump price on Wednesday.

This is as IPMAN confirmed that negotiations between them and Dangote Refinery were still ongoing about the pricing strategy.

According to IPMAN, it had resolved every other issue during a meeting with Dangote Refinery on Monday.

They promised that Nigerians would really feel the impact within the coming days.
