EPL: He was bullied like little boy – Redknapp criticises Man Utd star

Former Liverpool star, Jamie Redknapp has criticized Lisandro Martinez after the Manchester United defender was beaten to the ball for Nottingham Forest’s first goal in their Premier League 3-2 win at Old Trafford over the weekend.

Redknapp believes that the Argentina international was bullied like a little boy inside the box.

Speaking on Sky Sports after the game, Redknapp claimed Martinez needed to be stronger while marking the Nottingham Forest attacker Chris Wood.

“He has to be stronger there. He’s like a little boy there,” Redknapp said.

“He just gets bullied. It’s a mismatch, he is trying to block him and its a towering header.”

The result leave Man United in the 13th position with 19 points after 15 games.
