EPL: Garnacho takes decision on joining Chelsea as Man Utd reduce transfer fee

Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho would favour a move to Chelsea over Napoli, according to TyC Sport.

Napoli have already seen an offer rejected for Garnacho as United initially held out for £70m.

Chelsea are also keen on signing the 20-year-old before the end of the January transfer window.

Garnacho’s agents were in attendance at Stamford Bridge on Monday night to watch the Blues beat Wolves 3-1.

United’s hierarchy held further talks with Napoli on Tuesday and reports in Italy claim that they have now reduced their asking price to €65m (£54.8m).

But Garnacho’s preference would be to continue playing in the Premier League, although Chelsea have yet to submit an offer to United.

United boss Ruben Amorim refused to comment on Garnacho’s future ahead of Thursday’s Europa League clash with Rangers.
