Apugo emerges Abia NNPP Chairman

The New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, has conducted its State Congress in Abia State, electing Kelechi Apugo as the party’s Chairman.

This is coming after the conclusion of the Ward and the Local Government Congress earlier.

Apugo, who was the acting Chairman of the NNPP in the State, was elected together with other executive members of the party during the Congress held in Umuahia.

Delegates said Apugo was elected party Chairman based on his performance as acting Chairman.

In his response, the Abia State NNPP Chairman said his party was now focused in harnessing its potential towards taking over Abia as 2027 drew near.

He added that NNPP was a strong party with national spread and people-oriented manifesto.
