United States President Donald Trump’s eight-point plan for all tax provisions has been revealed.
According to Rapid Response 47, the 8-point tax priority includes no tax on tips or on seniors’ social security, no tax on overtime pay, renewing the Trump tax cuts, and adjusting the SALT cap.
Trump also wants to eliminate the special tax breaks for billionaire sports team owners and close the carried interest loophole.
Meanwhile, President Trump huddled with Republicans in the Oval Office on Thursday for roughly five hours, but the GOP is not any closer to striking a deal to get a massive spending bill across the finish line.
The development comes as Trump, in his first weeks after the inauguration, rolls out several executive orders and tariff sections, which have been greeted with controversy.
Trump ordered a pause of funding to all US foreign aid, including the U.S. Agency for International Development, USAID.
He also slammed import tariffs on Mexico, Canada, and China, which sparked a trade war.
