NPFL: Heartland lament defeat to Katsina United

Heartland have expressed disappointment over their 1-0 loss to Katsina United in a Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday 23 fixture in Katsina.

Muhammad Ibrahim’s lone strike secured maximum points for Katsina United in the encounter.

The defeat was the Naze Millionaires’ first in five league outings.

The Owerri club stated that they have shifted their focus to their next game against Shooting Stars.

“It was a painful loss in Katsina,” Heartland wrote on X.

“We shall make the long trip back home to prepare for Shooting Stars.”

Heartland currently occupy 11th position on the league table with 29 points.
