US Tax refund: Elon Musk agrees to discuss ‘DOGE Dividend’ with Trump

The United States of America billionaire has agreed to discuss a Department of Government Efficiency Dividend proposal, which means tax refunds will be sent as checks to every taxpayer in the country.

Elon Musk, who is lead at DOGE, made this commitment when he responded to the DOGE Dividend proposal by Janes Fishback, Chief Executive at Invest Azoria, on his X account Tuesday.

Responding to the three-page DOGE Dividend proposal by Fishback, Musk wrote: “I will check with the President”.

According to the proposal advanced by Fishback, 20 percent of savings from DOGE will be sent as a tax refund to every taxpayer in the US.

The proposal also indicated that 80 percent of savings from the cost-cutting efforts of DOGE across US federal agencies would be used to pay down the country’s national debt.

“Our proposal for President Trump’s DOGE Dividend would be capped at 20 percent of DOGE’s total savings, with the other 80 percent used to pay down the national debt”, Fishback stated on X in response to US Senator, Ron Joshson’s acceptance of the proposal.

The proposal, if approved by President Donald Trump, will have every US taxpayer get at least $5,000 from DOGE.
