EPL: Nottingham Forest upbeat on Aina stay

Nottingham Forest are increasingly confident Ola Aina will sign a new long-term contract before the end of the season.

The Nigeria international’s current contract will expire this summer.

According to The Athletic, talks are now at an advanced stage between the club and Aina’s representatives.

The defender has been in fantastic form for the Tricky Trees this season, netting twice in 27 league appearances.

Media Talk Africa recalls that the 28-year-old joined the Tricky Trees on a free transfer in July 2023.

Aina signed a one-year contract extension last summer.
