Keane names two players not good enough for Man Utd after City draw

Manchester United legend, Roy Keane has named two players who are ‘not good enough’ for the club after their Premier League 0-0 draw with Manchester City on Sunday.

Recall that both teams failed to score at Old Trafford on Sunday evening as they got a point each after the encounter.

Keane expressed concern over Man United’s lack of progress after the match.

The Irishman said Man United manager Ruben Amorim’s current options up front – Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee – were ‘not good enough’ for the Premier League giants.

“Manchester United can still be more of a goal threat,” Keane said on Sky Sports.

“The couple of strikers [Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee] –United have at the club are not good enough for United, but there are other players on the team.

“There are wide players, defenders can score goals, there are set pieces. The goal they have away at [Nottingham] Forest the other day, you have an opposition player running 70 or 80 yards.”

Hojlund and Zirzkee have endured dismal seasons at Man United so far.

The duo have a combined six goals in the Premier League this season.
