NPFL: Elegbeleye upbeat 2024/25 season will end on positive note

The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, has assured that the 2024-25 season will end on a positive note.

NPFL Chairman Gbenga Elegbeleye gave the assurance in a conversation with a radio station in Abeokuta.

Elegbeleye stated that the league will build on the success of this season.

“We are on the verge of finishing the league; we began in August and will finish in May. Now, we have achieved that calendar, which is in line with global best practices,” Elegbeleye told Eagles7 Radio.

“We are happy, and definitely, we will continue on this success. We have zero tolerance for sharp practice, and as you can see this season, it will continue to progress in this way, making the NPFL the best in Africa.”

Remo Stars currently occupy the top position on the league table with 60 points from 32 matches.
