Ibile Oil and Gas Corporation (IOGC) has been awarded ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications in recognition of its quality service delivery. In a statement issued on Monday, the company explained that these international certifications confirm its services meet consumer needs through a robust quality management system covering downstream and gas commercialisation activities, including procurement, storage, transportation, retail and distribution of premium motor spirits, automotive gas oil, high‑quality and affordable engine lubricants, and liquefied petroleum gas.

IOGC underwent an organization‑wide audit to achieve the certifications. The audit process involved creating a quality management system, reviewing management system documentation, conducting a pre‑audit and an initial assessment, and clearing any non‑conformances. “ISO is one of the most rigorous and well‑regarded standards in the world,” the statement noted. The integrated management system was established by Finsbury Heinz Limited, a leading QHSE and sustainability firm, with certification provided by Bluestar Management Systems Limited, a globally recognized ISO body operating in over 132 countries.

At the certificate presentation, Managing Director Mrs. Doyin Akinyanju said, “These certifications prove our dedication to delivering high‑quality products, dependable service, and ethical business practices while minimizing negative environmental impact and upholding our duty of care to our clients and stakeholders. We do this on behalf of Lagos State and in alignment with the Governor’s T.H.E.M.E.S agenda.” She added that the company is committed to maintaining the certifications and continuously improving its processes, product delivery and service.
