The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has emerged victorious in Bauchi State, defeating his closest rival, Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, by a margin of 109,913 votes. The results were announced on Monday by the state Collation Officer for the presidential election, Prof. Abdulkarim Mohammed, who is also the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University, Dutse, Jigawa State. The announcement took place at 8:15 PM at the Prof. Mahmood Yakubu Conference Hall, located at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Headquarters in Bauchi, which served as the Collation Center for the presidential election in the state.

In summarizing the results, Prof. Mohammed reported that Atiku Abubakar received 426,607 votes, while Ahmed Tinubu garnered 316,694 votes. Additionally, Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigerian People’s Party received 72,103 votes, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party secured 27,373 votes. The total number of registered voters in Bauchi State stands at 2,749,268, with 899,769 voters accredited to participate in the election. The valid votes cast amounted to 853,516, while 29,030 votes were rejected, resulting in a total of 882,546 votes cast.

The detailed results from the 20 local government areas of Bauchi State, as announced by the respective Returning Officers, are as follows:

1. **Warji LGA**: Registered Voters: 69,911; Accredited: 31,663; APC: 11,862; NNPP: 424; PDP: 17,732; LP: 185; Votes Cast: 31,664; Valid: 30,321; Rejected: 692; Cancellations: 2 Polling Units due to overvoting. Returning Officer: Prof. Ahmed Fagam, ATBU, Bauchi.
