Lagos ADC Welcomes Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour

The Lagos State Chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has welcomed the 2023 Lagos State Labour Party governorship candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, to its fold. According to the state ADC Chairman, George Ashiru, Rhodes-Vivour’s defection is a step in the right direction. Ashiru described Rhodes-Vivour as a champion of the electorate, citing his past experiences as a senatorial candidate in 2019 and gubernatorial flag bearer in 2023.

Rhodes-Vivour officially joined the ADC on Saturday, a move the party chairman sees as a patriotic act. Ashiru stated that the ADC is happy to have Rhodes-Vivour on board, as he has led many members of the Lagos Labour Party to join the ADC. This development is expected to strengthen the party’s position as a formidable opposition and a credible alternative to the current government.

The ADC chairman emphasized that the party is a coalition of Nigerian patriots and citizens who are seeking a better deal. With Rhodes-Vivour’s joining, the party is poised to offer a more viable alternative to the electorate. Ashiru extended a warm welcome to Rhodes-Vivour and other like-minded individuals who are seeking to make a positive impact in the country’s political landscape.

The defection of Rhodes-Vivour to the ADC is seen as a significant development in the Nigerian political scene. As the country continues to navigate its complex political terrain, the ADC is positioning itself as a major player. With its growing membership and increasing influence, the party is likely to play a key role in shaping the country’s future.

The ADC’s vision of providing a better deal for Nigerians is resonating with many citizens who are seeking change. As the party continues to gather momentum, it is likely to be a force to be reckoned with in the country’s political landscape. With Rhodes-Vivour on board, the ADC is poised to make a significant impact in the upcoming elections and beyond.
