NIMASA Chairman Backs Governor Uba Sani’s Progress

Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency Chairman and All Progressives Congress chieftain Alhaji Yusuf Hamisu Mairago declared that no one can impede Governor Uba Sani’s commitment to the 11 million residents of Kaduna. Speaking at an APC stakeholders’ meeting in Kaduna South Local Government Area, he warned anyone attempting to interfere with the governor’s work to desist.

Mairago emphasized that Governor Uba Sani is devoted to the people of Kaduna, prioritising their needs and upholding the oath he took as governor. He noted that the governor’s focus on the populace and his accountability to God on the Day of Judgment cannot be swayed by individual interests. Describing the governor as a hardworking leader who is constantly engaged—resting only during travel or meals—Mairago highlighted the significant improvements in security and infrastructure achieved under his administration.

Among the achievements cited were the reopening of the Birnin Gwari and Giwa roads, which Mairago called a notable milestone, and the overall enhancement of security that has made Kaduna a safer and more respected state across Nigeria and beyond. He recalled that the Vice President praised Governor Uba Sani’s security record as a remarkable feat for the nation.

The governor’s performance, according to Mairago, has placed Kaduna on the global map, earning recognition from bodies such as the Commonwealth. The state’s removal from the red to the amber list and the attention it has attracted from countries like the United States further attest to its progress. Mairago urged Kaduna residents to appreciate these achievements as a blessing and a source of pride.

Finally, he stressed that the governor’s dedication to delivering constituency projects—something previous administrations failed to accomplish—demonstrates his focus on serving the people. Mairago’s statement reinforces the importance of allowing Governor Uba Sani to continue his work without interference, anticipating that Kaduna’s reputation and international recognition will keep growing under his leadership.
