Value Jet launches GWI flights October 7

Value Jet Airlines has announced the commencement of commercial flights from the Gateway International Airport in Ogun State, Nigeria, starting October 7. The airline will operate two flights per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, connecting the airport to Abuja.

The decision to begin flights follows the approval of the airport by regulatory agencies, confirming its state-of-the-art facilities meet the necessary standards. The GWI-Abuja route will see departures from Gateway International Airport at 8:30 am, arriving in Abuja at 9:45 am. Return flights from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja will depart at 4:00 pm, arriving at GWI at 5:15 pm.

Tickets for these flights will be available online, through travel agents, and at the airport’s ticket desks, starting from September 25. This new service is expected to enhance connectivity for travelers from Ibadan, Ogun State, Abuja, and Lagos, providing them with an alternative route to Abuja and beyond via Ogun State. The unbeatable facilities at Gateway International Airport will also be a significant advantage for these travelers.

The business and industrial sectors, including contractors, bankers, government officials, and leisure travelers, have expressed eagerness to utilize this new flight service.
