APC Governors Urge ASUU to Resume Dialogue

The All Progressives Congress governors have called on the Academic Staff Union of Universities to engage in dialogue with the Federal Government to resolve their grievances. This appeal was made at the end of a two-day meeting of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, held in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, from October 16 to 17, 2025.

According to the forum’s chairman, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, negotiation is the most effective way to resolve disputes in the education sector. He emphasized the importance of returning to the dialogue table, citing the interest of the nation’s education system.
