The Obidient Movement has announced its readiness to safeguard the integrity of the upcoming Anambra State governorship election. National coordinator Yunusa Tanko said that measures have been put in place to prevent rigging and manipulation during the electoral process. Speaking at the George Moghalu Campaign Office in Udoka Estate, Tanko emphasized the movement’s commitment to protecting the people’s mandate and ensuring that the voice of Anambra citizens is heard.

Tanko revealed that the movement has inaugurated Polling Unit Commanders across all 5,720 polling units in the state, establishing a strong grassroots presence in every community, ward and village. In addition, the movement has leveraged digital technologies to enhance the transparency and credibility of the election. He declared that the era of manipulating election results is over and that the current generation of Nigerians will not tolerate electoral malpractice.
