Osimhen tipped to break Baros Galatasaray record

Victor Osimhen has been tipped to break Milan Baros’ goals record at Galatasaray by Turkish football pundit Mehmet Demirkol. Demirkol made the statement after Osimhen led Galatasaray to a 3-1 win over Göztepe in the Super League. Speaking on the Socrates Magazine YouTube channel, Demirkol praised Osimhen’s style, stating that he reaches a new level every match.

Osimhen has been impressive for Galatasaray, scoring 43 goals so far. Baros, a former Galatasaray striker, scored 61 goals during his time at the club. Demirkol believes that if Osimhen continues his current form, he could surpass Baros’ record this season. With 24 league matches, a European match, and several cup appearances remaining, Osimhen has ample opportunity to achieve this feat.

Demirkol drew comparisons between Osimhen and former Turkish player Tuncay Şanlı, praising Osimhen’s passion and work rate. He noted that Osimhen’s constant pressing and creativity on the field make him a standout player. Galatasaray’s current season has been marked by Osimhen’s impressive performances, and Demirkol’s prediction has sparked interest among football fans.

As the season progresses, Osimhen will be closely watched to see if he can break Baros’ record. With his current form and remaining matches, it is possible that he could achieve this milestone. The Turkish Super Lig has seen several notable players over the years, and Osimhen’s performances have cemented his place among the league’s top strikers. As Galatasaray continues to compete in the Super League and European competitions, Osimhen’s goal-scoring ability will be crucial to the team’s success.
