Two radio presenters die in Oyo 

Reports from Oyo State, Nigeria, have confirmed the passing of two radio presenters, Kola Oladapo and Idowu Ogunbunmi. The news of their deaths was announced on Sunday; both individuals had worked for different media houses in the state prior to their demise. Oladapo was a staff member at Lagelu 96.6 FM in Ibadan, the state capital, while Ogunbunmi was employed at Radio Nigeria FM in Oko, Ogbomoso.

According to sources, Oladapo’s funeral took place on Sunday afternoon at Sango Cemetery in Ibadan, attended by family, friends, and colleagues. His former employer described his death as unfortunate, noting that he lived a purposeful life marked by genuine humanity. The station praised Oladapo’s humility, greatness, and the lasting impressions he left on his colleagues, friends, and listeners.

Ogunbunmi, on the other hand, was known for his impactful program on Rave FM in Osogbo, where he distinguished himself as a vibrant voice on governance, culture, and public affairs. An associate, Chief Peter Taiwo Ogundeji, confirmed his death and called
