The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 will be held in India and Sri Lanka from 7 February to 8 March, marking the tournament’s 10th edition. Team India will defend its title as reigning champions. A total of 20 teams are competing, divided into four groups of five.
Group A features co‑hosts India together with Namibia, the Netherlands, the United States and Pakistan. Group B comprises Australia, Sri Lanka, Oman, Zimbabwe and Ireland. As the tournament approaches, squads are being announced. India’s lineup includes Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav among others. Australia’s provisional squad features Mitchell Marsh, Travis Head and Glenn Maxwell. Sri Lanka’s preliminary list contains Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Mendis and Dasun Shanaka. Teams such as the United States, Namibia and the Netherlands have yet to release their final squads.
