Hausa leader Alhaji Ali Dahiru Zungeru dies in Ibadan

A source within the community in Sabo, Ibadan, confirmed the death to the press. The source, who wished to remain anonymous, stated that Zungeru would be buried on Tuesday, in accordance with Islamic customs. “The Sarkin Hausawa of Ibadanland is dead. He died this evening and will be buried in Sabo tomorrow,” the source said.
