Tinubu Achievements Predict 2027 APC Landslide Victory

Supporters Praise Tinubu’s Achievements, Predict 2027 Landslide Victory

SAGAMU — A prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) leader in Ogun State has credited President Bola Tinubu’s administration with transformative projects and social programs, arguing that the government’s record makes opposition untenable.

Speaking at a stakeholder event in Sagamu on Wednesday, Abdulrasaq Odusote, an APC figure in Sagamu Local Government, pointed to the return of student bursaries and major federal infrastructure projects—specifically the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road and the Badagry-Sokoto Expressway—as evidence of a “performing” presidency. He claimed these initiatives restored social welfare standards not seen since the 1970s.

“In Nigeria today, it’s only the blind who cannot see what President Bola Tinubu is doing,” Odusote stated. He contrasted current road construction with past decades, noting the newly visible projects. He challenged critics, saying that reviving student bursaries alone marked a significant return to historical welfare policies.

Odusote predicted a decisive victory for Tinubu and the APC in the 2027 elections, forecasting a result comparable to the historic 1993 mandate of Chief Moshood Abiola. He framed dissent against Tinubu as “ethnic bigotry” that would fail nationally.

The event was organized by coalitions including Ogo Tuntun for PDA PBAT 2027, Royal Men and Women, and Ogun Women Assembly for Yayi, all aligning to support Tinubu’s re-election bid and the state’s political ticket. Rev. Olusola Salau, leader of Ogo Tuntun for Dapo Abiodun and President Tinubu 2027, confirmed the partnership aims to secure Tinubu’s re-election, Governor Dapo Abiodun’s Ogun East senatorial ticket, and Senator Adeola Olamilekan’s gubernatorial ambition.

“Everyone joining APC is coming because they know the party is performing and winning,” Salau said, adding that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) could not win under the current administration.

Alhaja Rianat Oshisanwo, convener of Royal Men and Women for Yayi, claimed to have mobilized over 20,000 people to deliver Remo community for the party’s candidates. Meanwhile, Samson Ogunsanya, immediate past Ogun chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC), emphasized his group’s neutrality, stating its focus is on ensuring a smooth, fair, and credible election process regardless of party affiliation.

The gathering highlighted ongoing coalition-building within the ruling party ahead of 2027, with supporters repeatedly citing tangible federal projects as the cornerstone of their campaign narrative.
