Philip Agbese, the federal lawmaker representing the Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo constituency in Benue State, has formally resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and announced his defection to the Labour Party. Agbese, who currently serves as the deputy spokesperson of the House of Representatives, disclosed the political realignment on Tuesday through an official statement on his Facebook page.
In his announcement, Agbese described the transition as a response to a commitment to serve his constituents with sincerity, humility, and dedication. He stated that he has been welcomed by fellow Labour Party lawmakers serving in the National Assembly.
