President Tinubu Congratulates Aliko Dangote on 69th Birthday, Praises Industrial Legacy

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Africa’s leading industrialist, Aliko Dangote, on his 69th birthday, commending his pivotal role in Nigeria’s economic advancement.

In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu described Dangote as a transformative figure whose investments have significantly propelled Nigeria’s industrialisation and economic development. He highlighted the industrialist’s entrepreneurial vision, resilience, and innovation, noting that ventures such as the Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Company and cement factories across Africa have positioned Nigeria as a major industrial hub.

The president underscored the Dangote Group’s contributions to job creation, infrastructure development, and fostering confidence in the Nigerian economy. “Dangote remains a shining example of African enterprise, whose achievements continue to inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs across the continent,” he said.

Tinubu also lauded Dangote’s philanthropic initiatives through the Dangote Foundation, particularly in health, education, and poverty alleviation, which have positively impacted millions of lives across Nigeria and beyond.

The president concluded by praying for Dangote’s continued good health, wisdom, and greater accomplishments in service to Nigeria, Africa, and humanity.

Dangote, whose business empire spans multiple sectors, has long been recognised as a symbol of African entrepreneurship and a driving force behind the continent’s industrial growth.
