Flutterwave partners Activate Success to empower Nigerian youth

Flutterwave and Activate Success International Foundation (ASIF) have entered a partnership to support the 2026 Youth Entrepreneurship and Empowerment Programme (YEEP) and expand digital financial inclusion for young Nigerians.

The collaboration brings together Flutterwave, Africa’s leading payments‑technology provider, and ASIF, a non‑profit that has delivered enterprise‑development services to thousands of youths through YEEP and other outreach programmes. In 2025 the foundation allocated more than ₦50 million in cash and equipment grants to selected entrepreneurs, reaching over 2,000 participants and engaging more than 30,000 young people through NYSC orientation‑camp activations.

As lead sponsor of YEEP 2026, Flutterwave will integrate its full payment ecosystem into the programme, including the Send App cross‑border remittance platform, merchant solutions and digital‑financial infrastructure. The aim is to enable participants to receive payments from any location, manage transactions and scale sustainable businesses.

“Nigeria’s youthful population is its greatest strength. The ambition is already there—what’s needed is access to the right tools to unlock it,” said Olugbenga Agboola, founder and CEO of Flutterwave. “Through this partnership with ASIF, we are equipping young entrepreneurs with the tools to build sustainable businesses, while platforms like Send App give them the ability to receive payments globally.”

ASIF’s founder and CEO, Love Idoko‑Uloko, added that the partnership “strengthens our mission to provide real opportunities—funding, skills, and access—to young Nigerians who need to be resourced rather than rescued.”

YEEP 2026 is scheduled for 18 June 2026 in Abuja. Beyond the event, the agreement will extend to NYSC orientation camps across the country, where thousands of corps members will be introduced to digital‑financial tools, merchant services and financial‑management capabilities.

The initiative aligns with Nigeria’s broader goals of financial inclusion and youth economic participation. By expanding access to digital payment solutions, the partnership seeks to bring informal‑sector workers into the formal economy and improve productivity. Both organisations also plan to link beneficiaries to additional enterprise‑support programmes, creating longer‑term pathways for business growth.

Flutterwave’s involvement highlights its commitment to providing accessible financial infrastructure for Nigerian businesses, while ASIF continues to build on a decade of enterprise‑development experience to empower the nation’s next generation of entrepreneurs.
