Some fans climbed trees, rooftops, and traffic lights for a glimpse of Mikel Arteta’s squad. Arsenal secured the league crown on May 19 after second-place Manchester City drew at Bournemouth. The celebration followed a heartbreaking 1-1 draw with Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final on Saturday, where Eberechi Eze and Gabriel Magalhaes missed penalties in a shootout, handing PSG their second consecutive European title.
Kai Havertz gave Arsenal an early lead, but Ousmane Dembele equalized from the spot in the second half. The Premier League triumph ends a three-year streak as runners-up for the Gunners. The parade, starting at 2:00 pm local time, covered a 9-kilometer route near the Emirates Stadium in Islington, featuring four buses, including one carrying Arsenal Women, who won the inaugural Women’s Champions Cup in February.
