ipNX Nigeria made its mark at the 2026 IoT West Africa Conference and Exhibition, held at the Landmark Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos, by doubling down on its promise to drive innovation and digital change. The company’s Chief Technology Architect, Oluwaseun Oluboyo, joined a high-level boardroom dialogue titled ‘Tech Transformation: A Masterclass to Enable the C-Suite to Lead Digital Transformation in Nigeria.’ He argued that real digital transformation starts with a sharp focus on customer needs and business challenges, not just chasing the latest technology.

As artificial intelligence sweeps across industries, Oluboyo offered a reality check. “AI is not a magic bullet. AI will produce nonsense faster than any human can do, so your data quality is of critical importance,” he said. He stressed that organizations must get their workflows right because AI doesn’t know when to stop. “Your workflow has to be just right because AI also doesn’t know when to pause. Organisations must invest the time to understand their systems, map their data properly, and prepare their infrastructure before deployment,” Oluboyo added.
