The Okoroafor Chinaza Ogechi Foundation urged women and girls to embrace menstrual hygiene during a sensitisation outreach at the Internally Displaced People camp in Durumi, Abuja. The event, themed “Education on menstrual hygiene and importance of educating the girl‑child,” was conducted in collaboration with the Beauty of Africa International Pageant and Spec Kitchen.

The outreach highlighted the importance of using sanitary pads during menstruation and emphasized the broader need to educate the girl‑child. Attendees received sanitary pads, toiletries, snacks, and other essential items.

Chinaza Okoroafor, the foundation’s founder, the third runner‑up of BAIP and Miss Multinational Nigeria 2023, reaffirmed her commitment to educating women about hygiene and raising awareness of the necessity to educate girls. “The theme of my foundation is ‘value for all women.’ We want to show women and girls love, tell them how important they are, and teach them key skills that will help them in their daily lives because women are essential to society.”
