Troops of the Nigerian Army under Operation Hadin Kai have reportedly killed scores of Boko Haram members as they raided six terrorists’ camps in the fringes of Sambisa Forest in Borno State.

Multiple Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama, a Counter Insurgency Expert in the Lake Chad that the terrorists were eliminated after troops of 21 Task Force Brigade Bama, in conjunction with Civilian Joint Task Force, (CJTF), yesterday made a crushing intrusion into the terrorists’ enclaves.

The troops were to have successfully cleared the terrorists’ hideouts located in Bula Agaida; Bula Yaga; Bula Lambai; Kuluri; Bula Umar and New Churchur in Bama local government area of Borno State.

It was also gathered that during the raid, the troops discovered and destroyed a large Boko Haram camp.

It was reported that the troops came into contact with some terrorists during the fighting patrol to clear the general area where they engaged and eliminated them, as well as recovered a gun truck.
