Chairman, Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan, Babatunde Akoro has charged his players to go all out for a win in Wednesday’s Nigeria Premier Football League home fixture against Plateau United.
The Oluyole Warriors lost 2-0 to Akwa United in Uyo last weekend.
Gbenga Ogunbote’s side are now hovering around the relegation zone and need to beat Plateau United to boost their survival hopes.
Akoro, while addressing the players in their camp explained the importance of the team securing maximum points against the Peace Boys.
“We are here to further demonstrate our love and belief in you guys and presently, we know we are not in the position we should be, after our superlative performance during the pre-season tournament in Lagos.
“I want to challenge you to do your best and start getting the much needed result as from tomorrow.”
Shooting Stars occupy eighth position on the Group A with 10 points from 10 games.
