Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola, the High Commissioner of Nigeria to the United Kingdom, described the death of former Attorney‑General and Minister of Justice Prince Bola Ajibola, SAN, as a great loss to the entire world. In a condolence letter to the deceased’s eldest son, Prince Segun Ajibola, SAN, the envoy praised his father as an outstanding lawyer, eminent jurist, noble prince, God‑fearing humanist, devout Muslim, quintessential diplomat, and committed educationist.

Isola highlighted Ajibola’s invaluable contributions to the legal field and Nigeria’s diplomatic efforts. He noted that Ajibola’s legacy in education, as the founder of Crescent University in Abeokuta, will remain indelible and will be remembered for generations. The ambassador recalled that Ajibola served his country with distinction, dignity, and honour as a former Attorney‑General of Nigeria, President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Judge of the International Court of Justice in The Hague, and past High Commissioner to the United Kingdom.

The ambassador emphasized Ajibola’s tireless promotion of the rule of law, human rights, and justice, which inspired many and earned him both national and international accolades. He expressed his thoughts and prayers, along with those of the entire Nigeria High Commission, to the grieving family, hoping they find comfort in knowing that their father’s contributions will continue to be celebrated and honoured for years to come.

Isola concluded by praying that God grants Ajibola Jannatul Firdaus and that his family finds the courage to bear this painful loss. He asked the family to accept his heartfelt condolences.
