PICTORIAL: Lagos Taskforce bars journalists from accessing site of collapsed building

The Lagos State Task Force has barred journalists from getting entry into the site of the collapsed seven-storey building in Banana Island, Lagos State.

In a live video by our correspondent, reporters from various media houses including The , Channels TV, TVC, Arise, Guardian and others, were seen trying to get access to the main site but were forcefully denied.

The had earlier reported that most of the Journalists have been at the site for close to two hours waiting to be given access to the estate.

Banana Island is one of the most expensive neighbourhoods in Nigeria, home to some of the wealthiest people in the country. Access to the estate can not be gained without getting an access code from a resident.
