The South West Zonal Vice Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Olasoji Adagunodo is dead.

Adagunodo, it was learnt, died on Tuesday after a brief illness in the United States of America.

Close sources to Adagunodo, who was a former Osun State PDP Chairman, revealed that he travelled to the US shortly after the general elections for a routine medical checkup but he did not come back.

“He died this afternoon. We were called from the United States that he has died. He travelled to the US shortly after the general elections for a routine medical checkup”, the source said.

Adagunodo hailed from Obokun local government area of Osun State and he was once a member of the Osun State House of Assembly.

Adagunodo before his death had a running supremacy battle with Sunday Bisi, the current Osun PDP Chairman.
