Flying Eagles draw Colombia 3-3 in friendly match

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles, on Tuesday night, held Colombia to a 3-3 draw in their final warm-up game to the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Colombia increased their chances nine minutes after they had gone behind on 20 minutes with Abel Ogwuche conceding an own goal.

Flying Eagles Jude Sunday came through for the Nigerian team barely six minutes before halftime.

However, Ladan Bosso’s side retained their two-goal lead immediately after restarting with Yaser Asprilla finding the net while Mohammed Beji of the Flying Eagles scored in the 65th minute.

Nigeria was able to equalise the match through Emmanuel Umeh’s goal.

The Flying Eagles will, therefore, face Dominican Republic, Brazil and Italy in the group stage of the competition.
