Adeyanju drags Obi for parading Abure as LP Chair despite court order

Social media influencer Deji Adeyanju has slammed the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, for allegedly endorsing Julius Abure as the National Chairman of the party despite a restraining order from the court.

Media Talk Africa reports that the Labour Party is currently in crisis following an order of the Abuja High Court restraining Abure from parading himself as the head of the party’s National Working Committee, NWC.

But it appears Obi and his followers are in support of Abure, whom the Lamidi Apapa faction dragged to court for alleged forgery and fraud.

Speaking in a post on Thursday, Adeyanju accused Obi and his followers of supporting illegality.

His words: “The court has restrained Abure from parading himself as Chairman of the Labour Party, but Obi continues to endorse his illegality, and he even proceeded to conduct Imo primaries after the decision of the court. That is how much they love illegality. PDP obeyed a similar court decision.”
