Labour Party Emerges As The Trusted Party According To Kogi State Publicity Secretary

Idakwo Emmanuel, Kogi State Publicity Secretary of the Labour Party, has stated that Labour Party has become the only party that the public trusts to rescue Nigeria. Speaking in Lokoja during a press chat on Monday, Emmanuel called on all Nigerians to maintain peace and abide by the law as dictated by the constitution, which establishes the process to follow when the general public declares their choice for president. Section 134 of the 1999 constitution states that 25% in 2/3 of 36 states is required and FCT. This equals 24 states and FCT, and the judiciary is responsible for making the interpretation so that the country’s democracy is not endangered.

In the upcoming November gubernatorial election in Kogi State, Emmanuel stated that Labour Party governorship candidate Barrister Adejoh Okeme is the best choice, and that all those agitating for a consensus candidate need to look beyond sentiments and back the candidate best suited for the position of governor.

Emmanuel added that Barrister Adejoh Okeme has the necessary skills, intelligence, energy, vision, and clearness of purpose to turn things around in Kogi State and become the Kogi consensus candidate. He urged everyone to join together to support Barrister Adejoh Okeme to achieve this mandate.

Labour Party has thus risen above other political parties to become the preferred choice of the people, according to Emmanuel.
