Etsu Nupe Calls for Prayers for Newly Inaugurated Leaders in Nigeria

As Nigeria commences a new chapter in its leadership journey, the Etsu Nupe and Chairman of the Niger Council of Traditional Rulers, Slh. Yahaya Abubakar, has called on Nigerians to offer prayers for the newly inaugurated leaders at all levels in the country. He made this call at his Wadata Palace in Bida, Bida Local Government Area of Niger State.

During his address, the Etsu Nupe reiterated the importance of seeking divine guidance in governance. He urged both Muslims and Christians to fervently pray for the newly inaugurated leaders to discharge their duties effectively and move the country toward a path of sustainable development.

With the recent inauguration of Governor Muhammad Umaru Bago in Niger State, the Etsu Nupe called on the governor to prioritize the welfare of citizens and commit to infrastructural and developmental needs of the state. He also emphasized the importance of appointing competent and experienced individuals to key positions in the state cabinet to drive development and take Niger State to the next level.

Furthermore, the Etsu Nupe enjoined citizens to support the new administration and live in peace with one another, irrespective of their affiliations. He expressed his belief that with God’s guidance and the support of Nigerians, the new leaders can deliver the much- needed dividends of democracy to the people.
