DG NiMet, reelected WMO executive council member

The Director General of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), Prof. Sani Abubakar Mashi, has been reelected as a member of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Executive Council for another four-year term. The announcement was made at the just concluded 18th session of the World Meteorological Congress held in Geneva, Switzerland.

Prof. Mashi, who has been serving as a member of the WMO Executive Council since 2015, will continue to represent the African region on the council.
