Abuja stolen N55m Benz: Police finally arrest suspect, Meshack in Edo

Police operatives have arrested one Meshack Sinuphro, who allegedly absconded with Benz GLB 250 in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Media Talk Africa studies that the suspect, who disguised himself as a potential purchaser, absconded with the Benz whereas test-driving the automobile belonging to a automotive seller, Mohammed Manga in Abuja final week.

The N55 million price automotive was, nonetheless, recovered in Delta State on Tuesday, after the police tracked it down and the suspect reportedly deserted it in a bush.

The Edo Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Udafe, confirmed the arrest in a tweet on his official deal with on Thursday night.

He wrote, “The suspect, Meshack Sinuphro, who allegedly stole the Benz at Abuja while pretending to be a buyer, has been arrested by the Command Decoy Squad today in Benin City.

“The suspect will be transferred to FCT command soonest. Always report crimes to the police, and we will always deliver”.
